IT Asset Management Associate
Job Description
We are looking for a qualified IT Asset Management Associate who will make sure that all of a company’s IT assets, such as software, hardware systems, or data, are operational. They keep track of a company’s IT assets throughout their life cycle from purchasing to usage.
The ideal candidate will be able to work diligently and accurately and will possess a great problem-solving ability in order to fix issues and ensure functionality

Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Keeping a tally of the hardware and software IT assets of the company.
Labeling and tracking the state of those assets, including how well they are being utilized.
Tracking of procured IT assets, receipt, inventory and provisioning.
Helps his/her organization to eliminate waste and increase efficiency by making the best use of
existing IT asset resources and avoiding asset purchases that are unnecessary.
Manage inventory of IT assets, making sure that modifications, withdrawals, and additions of existing
ones are correctly recorded by the teams in charge. All information should be validated.
Responsible for managing IT assets lifecycle of hardware and software models from their introduction
to their retirement
Research IT equipment, devices and software to make recommendations.
Perform technology research and routine administrative duties.
Establish and maintain documentation of procedures, processes, and all reports concerning IT
assets.
Collaborate with other IT teams to determine trends in IT asset performance.
Working with other teams to ensure all IT assets are accounted for.
He/She will do field work as deemed necessary by the Company as part of his/her role as an IT
Asset Management Associate.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or compensating experience
Knowledge and Skills Required
Basic troubleshooting skills - Hardware
Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components
Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
Good communication skills
Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
At least 1-year work experience
